Steve is currently Client Service Manager at WealthEngine.com.  He is the point person for a portfolio of the company’s large clients attending to their implementation, training, and development strategy needs.

Before joining WealthEngine.com, Steve was Assistant Director of Research, Strategic Initiatives at the University of Florida Foundation.  In this capacity, he primarily directed research efforts for corporate and foundation development projects, as well as for entrepreneurial investments in university-developed technologies.  He also managed projects to identify potential partners and possible donors to the university across all colleges and units.  Prior to that, Steve served as Assistant Director of Research at the University of South Florida Foundation, and Information Analysis Manager at the American Cancer Society, Florida Division.  He began his professional life in various capacities with local government, and as a submarine communications specialist in the US Navy.

Steve is an active member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA) International.  He currently serves on the APRA International Ethics Committee, and was Volunteer Co-Chair for both the 2006 & 2007 annual APRA International Conferences.   At the state level, Steve served on the APRA Florida Chapter board of directors as Immediate Past President from 2008 to 2009, President from 2006 to 2008, and Membership Chair from 2003 to 2005. He has also been a speaker at past chapter conferences, and other fundraising/advancement-related programs, discussing the role of research in development operations.
